SEOUL, Sept. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — An increasing number of consumers are looking for cases, straps and other accessories as Samsung Electronics Co.’s new Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable device is driving demand for customization and decoration.
Industry sources said that Samsung developed various accessories in collaboration with popular donut brand Noted, lifestyle brand Wiggle-wiggle, clothing brand Bean Pole, and others to great commercial success.
Accessories include the ‘palette,’ a design item inserted between the smartphone and a transparent smartphone case, and straps that connect to the case.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 is attracting consumers from the MZ generation with its refined design, seven different colors, and ability to feature any image on the phone’s cover display.
The fact that women in their 20s and 30s accounted for 35 percent of all pre-orders when they launched on Aug. 24 is indicative of the popularity of the new smartphone.
