SEOUL, Aug. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday that preorders for its latest smartphones — Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 — via a live broadcast on Samsung.com were twice as high as the previous series.
During the 1-hour and 40-minute live pre-order broadcast, the company offered the two Galaxy phones in their 256 GB model, as well as the exclusive Samsung.com 1 TB model of the Galaxy Z Fold5.
Out of all the orders, the Galaxy Z Flip5 proved to be more popular, accounting for 70 percent of them.
Samsung.com is providing customers who purchase the online exclusive Z Fold5 1TB with a complimentary Galaxy Watch 6 44 mm Bluetooth. The model was purchased by 35 percent of consumers interested in buying a Galaxy Z Fold5.
When it came to color preferences, mint was the most popular choice for the Galaxy Z Flip5, while ice blue was the favored option for the Galaxy Z Fold5.
