SEOUL, May 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Galleria Department Store announced on Thursday that it would open a unique popup store in its luxury hall, focusing on the concept of ‘tech’.
Organized by Xorbis, a developer of digital exhibition and media technology, the popup store will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the Sketcher X robot, capable of painting portraits, until Sunday.
From now until May 29, the department store will showcase Bubbles, a large art sculpture created through a collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence (AI).
In addition, the store will host Oasis X, an indoor café from Museum X, an immersive media experience space set to be launched by Xorbis this summer.
Furthermore, the department store will feature a popup store by CAKE, an eco-friendly e-bike brand from Sweden, until June 11.
Launched in 2016, CAKE bikes are known for their simple design inspired by North Europe, lightweight construction, and high performance.
