SEOUL, April 20 (Korea Bizwire) — Game companies in Seoul are organizing offline concerts featuring their game soundtracks, where fans can enjoy orchestral and band performances of their favorite games. Nexon and Gravity are among the companies hosting such concerts. Ticket sales have already begun for the “Tales Weaver The Orchestra” concert, which will feature songs from Nexon’s online MMORPG “Tales Weaver” arranged as orchestral ensembles and band performances.
Similarly, Gravity will hold a “Ragnarok The Orchestra Concert” at the Mapo Art Center in Seoul next month. The concerts are considered to be another fun element of gaming for game lovers, and offline performances related to game orchestras have been successfully held in the past. Since outdoor activities resumed last year after being curtailed during the coronavirus pandemic, several game companies have presented game-themed classical performances.
