SEOUL, March 12 (Korea Bizwire) — The Gangnam District Office opened a K-Star themed art toy street on March 12. The street is 400-meters long, and is adorned with art toys inspired by K-stars such as SNSD and EXO.
Korean designer team DUCOBI, UK born illustrator Jon Burgerman, Korean illustrator JunkHouse and graffiti artist Artime Joe have participated in designing and creating the art toys, which are named GangnamDols. The street lies between Galleria Department Store’s West Gate and the SM Entertainment building.
The district office is planning to install more art toys in Cheongdamdong and Garosugil, and develop commodities related to the art toys.
