CHUNCHEON, Jan. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — Winter snow swept over festivals in Gangwon Province, adding to the beauty of Gangwon’s mountainous landscape.
Visitors coming to the Inje Icefish Festival, Mount Taebaek Snow Festival, Pyeongchang Trout Festival, and others enjoyed the white landscape covered with snow.
This week, the Inje Icefish Festival, Gangwon’s only festival that offers ice fishing on natural ice, attracted icefish enthusiasts from all over the country.
Visitors were able to enjoy a real winter as snowflakes and strong wind blew over the festival.
Visitors at Mount Taebaek Snow Festival were also mesmerized by the dreamlike view created by the snow.
The festival, held at Mount Taebaek National Park, Hwangji Pond, and other signature locations, ends on Sunday.
