SEOUL, April 10 (Korea Bizwire) — Genesis, the independent luxury auto brand of Hyundai Motor Group, said Thursday it will offer the Bloomberg app and its proprietary Genesis Music service free of charge for vehicles equipped with its next-generation infotainment system.
The Bloomberg app will be available across all supported Genesis models, while Genesis Music will not be included in pre-2024 G90 units and pre-revamped GV60 models. The electrified GV70 will offer the music service at a later date.
Customers can access both services via an over-the-air software update without visiting a service center.
Genesis is the only carmaker to offer the Bloomberg app. Users can enjoy free unlimited access to the service through October 2026. Genesis Music offers Dolby Atmos technology to deliver a highly immersive in-car audio experience.
“This update allows customers to enjoy content conveniently without signing up or creating an account,” a Genesis official said. “We will continue to simplify content access and improve the in-car media experience moving forward.”
