SEOUL, Jun. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – South Korean luxury automaker Genesis has taken a bold step into the world of high-performance driving experiences with the launch of its Genesis Track Taxi Nordschleife at Germany’s renowned Nürburgring circuit on June 21.

The Track Taxi program allows enthusiasts to ride alongside professional drivers in specially tuned vehicles, experiencing extreme performance under various driving conditions. This initiative is part of Genesis’s Magma program, a high-performance expansion strategy first unveiled in New York this March.

For the Track Taxi experience, Genesis has modified its G70 3.3T model for optimal circuit performance, equipping it with Michelin high-performance sports tires, the Pilot Sport 4S. The vehicle boasts impressive specifications: 370 horsepower, 510 Nm of torque, and a top speed of 270 km/h.

The Track Taxi combines a robust body with exceptional driving performance and is adorned in orange, the signature color of Genesis Magma.

The Nürburgring, located in the Nürburg region of Rhineland-Palatinate in west-central Germany, is infamous for its challenging course, earning it the nickname “Green Hell”. The circuit is divided into the southern Grand Prix track and the northern Nordschleife.

The Nordschleife, where the Genesis Track Taxi operates, is renowned for its narrow roads, 73 corners, and elevation changes of up to 300 meters, offering a thrilling and demanding driving experience.

Each Track Taxi can accommodate up to three passengers for an 8-10 minute high-speed journey covering the 20 km track.

In related news, Genesis plans to debut the GV60 Magma Concept and G80 EV Magma Concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the UK’s largest automotive event, scheduled for July 11-14. This will mark the world’s first driving demonstration of these vehicles.
