SEOUL, May 20 (Korea Bizwire) — GM Korea Co., the South Korean unit of General Motors Co., said Thursday it will issue 10 different kinds of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) by recreating its Chevrolet Tahoe SUV as a digital artwork.
Illustrator Choi Hwan-wook and motion design artist Lee Cheon-seong participated in the production of the NFT.
GM Korea noted that the Tahoe NFTs will provide customers with the chance to collect scarce artworks.
Among the artworks, five limited NFTs will be issued each for the “VISION” and “CASTLE” pieces, and 50 limited NFTs each for the remaining eight artworks.
The Tahoe NFT artworks will be offered to 410 customers through the Kakao e-wallet Klip by drawing lots.
