SEOUL, July 13 (Korea Bizwire)Google Inc. announced Tuesday that it had launched a project in collaboration with BTS to view various cities and buildings visited by members of the K-pop supergroup.

Google Arts & Culture, the tech giant’s online exhibition site, hosted the BTS x Street Galleries to commemorate July 9th, the ‘birthday’ of BTS’ global fandom ARMY.

Accessing the collaboration site shows J-Hope introducing self-curated artwork in front of the UN headquarters in New York, where BTS gave a speech at the General Assembly in 2018 and staged a performance last year.

Jungkook appears in front of a building in Seoul’s Gangnam district, which used to be the headquarters for Big Hit Entertainment, the agency-label behind BTS and Hybe’s predecessor.

“Ever since we debuted in 2013, this place has been like my second home. We’ve grown so much since then,” Jungkook said.

Google explained that fans can view locations in Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo, Los Angels, London and other places visited by BTS to create their own ‘street galleries’ using artwork chosen by BTS members themselves.

The tech giant also introduced an event where searching for BTS would show a purple balloon which, when clicked, fills up the screen with purple balloons.
