SEOUL, July 1 (Korea Bizwire) – Workers at Gangjin Goryeo Celadon Museum are displaying porcelain fired in a traditional kiln on June 30. During the celadon event, they successfully produced 44 pieces of porcelain including a replica of the National Treasure “Celadon vase with inlaid crane and cloud designs.”
Prior to the display, they ignited fire in the kiln on June 18. An official at the county said, “The porcelain was fired at 1,300℃ with pine tree wood for 36 hours, to show the traditional way of making Goryeo Celadon.”
