SEOUL, July 7 (Korea Bizwire) — GS Shop, a TV shopping division of GS Retail Co., said Wednesday it will introduce Netflix’s new South Korean series in a ‘home shopping’ show.
The company will air a television show that introduces the Netflix Korean-language original series “Remarriage & Desires” on July 13.
The show will mimic a ‘home shopping’ show to introduce the plot and the various characters from the series.
Lead actress Kim Hee-sun and four other actors and actresses will appear on the show.
They will introduce various keywords that represent the series, like revenge, ambition and desire, each of which comes in a package as if they’re available for sale. The actors and actresses will put up various acting performances on the spot.
“Netflix has taken interest in the strength of home shopping shows that specialize in delivering the features and strength that each item has to the audience, which resulted in a Netflix series coming up on a home shopping show,” GS Shop said.
