SEOUL, Sept. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Traditional Korean costume hanbok designed by Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kim Yuna and others took the stage at a fashion show in London.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted a fashion show at the Korean Cultural Center in London on Tuesday evening, introducing a hanbok made in collaboration with Kim.
Kim participated in the process of designing the hanbok as well as modeling for a photo shoot. Ten hanbok designers made 60 different varieties of hanbok to emphasize Kim’s personality.
The ministry posted the video footage of the fashion show on the official website of the “hallyu”-themed Korean culture exhibition taking place at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Ten photos of Kim wearing hanbok were published in the fashion magazine Marie Claire.
