SEOUL, Jun. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — Hankook Tire & Technology Co. said Tuesday it has signed a deal with Mitsubishi Motors Corp. to supply tires for the Japanese automaker’s Xforce compact sport utility vehicle.
The South Korean tire company said it will supply its Ventus Prime 4 product to Mitsubishi. The company’s Ventus product series has been supplied to other global car manufacturers, including BMW, Volkswagen and Audi, as well.
According to the company, the Ventus Prime 4 exhibits high braking power and excellent performance even on wet surfaces. It also minimizes noise and enhances handling accuracy, while also facilitating increased travel compared to the previous model.
Hankook Tire said it is expanding its supply of tires through collaborations with Japanese automakers, including Mitsubishi, Toyota and Nissan.
