SEOUL, July 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Construction machinery manufacturer HD Hyundai Infracore Co. said Wednesday it has developed a mobile app utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology to assist in the diagnosis and repair of construction machines and equipment.
The AR Guidance app integrates AR technology with 3D modeling data and data collected from component sensors to enable easy monitoring of equipment status.
The app consists of two main functions: Guidance and Model Viewer.
The Guidance function offers diagnostic information based on equipment fault codes, sensor monitoring data, and guides for trial operations, thereby streamlining the fault diagnosis and repair process.
The Model Viewer function displays the location and names of major components, making it useful not only on-site but also in remote areas.
