Heavy Metal Singer Wows Korean TV Audiences

SEOUL, Feb.29 (Korea Bizwire)After the ‘silent thunder man’ who starred in MBC’s TV show ‘Masked Singer’ turned out to be Steelheart’s vocalist Miljenko Matijevic (52), viewers were shocked.

The lead singer of the heavy metal band ‘Steelheart’, famous for the song ‘She’s gone’, is visiting Korea to record a song for the soundtrack of the Korean Drama ‘Splendid Temptation’ that airs on MBC.

During his visit, he made an appearance on MBC’s popular show, ‘Masked Singer’, where various entertainers compete to win over the audience with their singing while covering their faces with masks to hide their identities.

Matijevic won over the hearts of the audience with his strong vocals. The viewers were moved that Miljenko practiced singing Korean songs in Korean for four months just for the show. He even sang the beloved song ‘Confession’, originally sung by singer Lim Jae-beom, in decent Korean.

After his identity was revealed, the audience, celebrity panel, and viewers were in awe. One viewer mentioned that it was a ‘miracle’ to see Matijevic on a Korean TV show. He sang ‘She’s gone’, and the audience sang along with him.

After the show, Matijevic expressed his gratitude through his Instagram account, saying that the performance was fun, and the audience’s reaction was wonderful.

Thanks to Matijevic’s appearance, the program’s ratings soared to 16.9 percent.
