SEOUL, Dec. 22 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s luxury hotels are competing to attract young customers by targeting the current trend of taking photos for Instagram.
Paradise City, a casino and hotel complex in Incheon, reported 100,000 people have visited the hotel’s Christmas market since Dec. 16.
The market, which covers an area of 8,100 square meters, is comprised of a retail zone, food zone and Christmas photo zone centered on a Santa Village.
The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul installed a six-meter-tall Christmas tree in its lobby, while the Signiel Seoul also set up a tree that is three storeys tall, rising from the 79th floor to the 81st floor.
The Banyan Tree Club and Spa Seoul joined hands with luggage manufacturer Rimowa to set up snow globe structures and aluminum trees at the center of its ice rink.
The Four Seasons Hotel collaborated with French crystal brand Baccarat to set up crystal chandeliers, tableware and objets in the first floor lobby.
