SEOUL, July 3 (Korea Bizwire)Hyosung Group decided to make a full innovation in their working environment by introducing a “Work Smart” campaign abolishing written approval procedure in the work processes.

From July 1, Hyosung Group began the campaign to encourage communication among workers and maximize the business result by abolishing all the processes not valued in the work environment gradually in three phases.

At first, all the employees in the group will concentrate on the improvement in their working environment. By implementing the improvement works and evaluation in every six months in work process, documentation structure and system, it will introduce improvement measures in its working environment such as “1 Page Best,” “No Written Authorization” and “3Q” policies.

The “1 Page Best” policy will make all the workers write their business reports just within one page to foster faster communication by stating key points only. Also, for the early introduction of a paperless work environment, it will drive toward a “Zero Written Authorization” policy to prevent slow decision making process and information sharing by revitalizing electronic authorization.

By the end of this year, it will abolish all the written authorization and shorten the authorization process into three stages to reduce the decision making time and improve work speed.

Also, the group will revitalize its unique practice of 3Q (question). The “3 Q” policy is a way for workers to easily understand their work like business purpose, deadline and quality by asking why, when and how.

An official at Hyosung said, “In the globalized business environment, effective communication means competitiveness. Through the ‘Work Smart’ campaign, we will provide more comfortable working environment and maximize the result by precise and fast communication and decision making process.”
