GOYANG, South Korea, April 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the fully redesigned version of its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the All-New Nexo, at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show on Wednesday, marking the global debut of the next-generation model seven years after the original Nexo launched in 2018.

Inspired by the hydrogen-powered concept N Vision 74 and designed under Hyundai’s new “Art of Steel” language, the All-New Nexo blends cutting-edge sustainability with advanced design.

Notable exterior features include daytime running lights and rear combination lamps shaped in the image of Hyundai Motor Group’s hydrogen brand, HTWO. The vehicle’s silhouette is defined by clean lines and arch structures for a more dynamic profile.

The interior emphasizes driver-centric innovation, with a panoramic curved display, integrated digital side mirrors, and soft padded patterns throughout the cabin. For the first time in a Hyundai model, the vehicle features premium Bang & Olufsen audio. Eco-friendly materials—including recycled plastics from end-of-life vehicles—are used throughout the cabin and exterior trim.

With an extended rear overhang increased by 80 mm, the vehicle now accommodates up to four golf bags. Under the hood, the Nexo is powered by a two-stage motor system with dual inverters, achieving a peak motor output of 150 kW—up 25 percent from its predecessor—and improving system efficiency to 90 percent.

Hyundai reports that the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. While the precise single-charge driving range is yet to be confirmed, internal estimates suggest more than 700 kilometers on a full hydrogen refill, which takes approximately five minutes.

The All-New Nexo also features enhanced crash safety with expanded use of ultra-high-strength steel and multi-frame structural reinforcement.

In addition to the Nexo, Hyundai unveiled refreshed designs for the New Ioniq 6 and the performance-oriented Ioniq 6 N Line, both global firsts. The updated Ioniq 6, originally released in 2022, now features a sleeker appearance, eliminating its protruding spoiler in favor of an extended ducktail design to maintain aerodynamic performance.

Hyundai is showcasing 18 vehicles across 10 models at this year’s show.

A Hyundai spokesperson said, “We hope visitors to the Hyundai Pavilion at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show will connect with our vision for a hydrogen-powered and electrified future through immersive exhibits and experiences.”
