SEOUL, May 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Department Store Co. will open ‘VR Pangyo Land’ in its Pangyo branch, south of Seoul, from May 14 to 30 where customers can experience a 360-degree virtual reality department store.
At the VR department store, customers can virtually visit around 50 locations throughout Hyundai Department Store Pangyo’s 11 floors.
Among them, customers can visit 14 virtual stores, where they can access a ‘VR Showroom’ to peruse available items and purchase them at Hyundai Department Store’s online shopping mall.
They can also receive real-time notifications on various promotions, as well as discount or give away coupons for use at offline stores.
Hyundai Department Store Pangyo also plans to introduce augmented reality (AR)-based photo zones at offline vendors.
