SEOUL, Dec. 29 (Korea Bizwire)Hyundai Motor Group has formulated a plan to help small merchants that are suffering from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic as part of its social contribution program ‘Gift Car.’

The group announced on Tuesday that it will launch the ‘Gift Car On Air’ campaign to help small businesses typically accustomed to offline-based operations explore new sales channels at online markets.

This year’s campaign marks the 12th anniversary and will be carried out in two different formats.

Through the ‘Gift Car PR Studio,’ professionals visit the workplaces of the micro businesses to assist with taking photos and videos for use in online promotion.

Hyundai Motor Co.’s Staria minivans and Kia Corp.’s Carnival minivans mounted with video equipment will be used for this campaign.

The ‘Gift Car Live Studio’ will be responsible for real-time online sales broadcasts for small merchants recommended by ordinary citizens. This campaign will use a Hyundai Mighty truck converted into an online broadcast studio.
