SEOUL, July 2 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Corp. announced Wednesday the launch of UX Studio Seoul, a new open research facility in southern Seoul designed to engage the public in shaping the user experience (UX) of future mobility solutions.

Replacing the original UX Studio established in 2021, the new space significantly improves accessibility and is intended to foster more dynamic communication of the brands’ UX design values.

While the previous studio operated primarily as an internal collaboration site for product planners, designers, and engineers, UX Studio Seoul opens its doors to the public, reflecting a shift toward open innovation.

The facility features two distinct areas: the Open Lab on the first floor, where visitors can interact with UX exhibits and participate in research activities, and the Advanced Research Lab on the second floor, a more immersive space dedicated to in-depth UX development.

Hyundai and Kia said visitors will have the chance to explore a range of next-generation mobility concepts, take part in early-stage UX testing, and see how their feedback influences vehicle design and development.
