SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Group has developed a mobile application specialized for the automobile industry as part of efforts to promote smooth cooperation between its employees in and outside of South Korea.
The company recently announced the launch of an artificial neural network-based translation app H-Translator that enables users to communicate freely in both Korean and English through mobile devices.
The app was developed by Hyundai’s in-house independent unit AIRS Company that specializes in AI technology.
H-translator can translate not only sentences, text or images but also dialogue in chat rooms on a real time basis.
When users have a meeting in chat rooms, the app instantly translates the dialogue inputted in text or voice messages on a real time basis.
Hyundai said that the quality of its artificial neural network-based machine translation technology is internationally recognized enough to rank first in the Workshop on Asian Translation.
