Hyundai Motor Hosts Race for Environmental Protection

SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Korea Bizwire)Hyundai Motor Co. will host a contact-free donation program in which participants engage in a running race to contribute to environmental protection efforts.

‘Untact Fun Race,’ the final series of this year’s Longest Run race, will take place at Children’s Grand Park in Seoul.

It will be held in a contact-free environment to minimize the risk of coronavirus infection.

The race will be held over a period of eight days, with the first round to be held between Oct. 29-Nov. 1 and the second round taking place between Nov. 5-8.

A total of 9,300 runners joined the so-called ‘untact’ race last July.

The Longest Run, a part of Hyundai Motor’s social contribution initiatives, was first held in 2016, encouraging participants to make donations via an exclusive app as they cycle or run in a race to protect the environment.
