SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Korea Bizwire)Hyundai Motor Group announced on October 19 that it would open a “high-tech maintenance center” for commercial vehicles in the Daegu Seongseo Industrial Complex in Daegu City.

The center, run from the following day, is planned to provide quick high-quality repair services with Hyundai commercial auto drivers in case of an occurrence of serious breakdowns, which was until now offered only in a center in Daebang-dong in Seoul.

Many qualified mechanics are ready to provide the high-tech maintenance service at the center. Auto lifts which can haul up 25.5-ton dump trucks and 25-ton cargo trucks are also available. Not only that, a responsive dispatch service to anywhere in South Korea is accessible for sudden breakdowns of commercial cars which is hard to handle.

Aside from the center, the auto manufacturer plans to expand the number of maintenance service centers for general repairs of commercial vehicles across the country from 72 to 100 by 2020. In addition, service centers equipped with rest areas for commercial motor drivers are planned to be run in cities like Gwangju, Jinju, West Pyeongtaek and Yeoju to boost customer satisfaction.

“We opened the center for commercial vehicle maintenance in order to improve the current situation where it has been hard for commercial auto drivers to find repair centers. We will put forth our best effort to increase their satisfaction by providing prompt and right services with reasonable prices,” said an official of the global auto maker.
