SEOUL, Oct. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. on Thursday unveiled its second high-performance road bicycle made in collaboration with a local company.
The road bicycle WAWS Pro N and MTB Hexion 29 N, released in February of last year, were Hyundai’s first collaboration project with Wiawis, a South Korean premium bike maker. Both are high-end bicycles costing over 10 million won (US$8,550).
The new WAWS G Disc N Line Edition, released this week, is a medium-end bicycle priced at around 7 million won.
The road bike performs as well as Hyundai’s N Line bicycles while catering to the needs of everyday bikers, expanding the range of potential customers.
The new bike comes with the N Line bicycle’s official colors, with an N brand logo on the front side to emphasize its uniqueness.
Wiawis, founded by a former national archery team coach, uses graphene nanocarbon to make bicycles for both professionals and non-professionals alike.
