SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Group’s independent luxury brand Genesis said Friday it has partnered with Tate Modern, a leading British modern art museum, as part of a company initiative to collaborate with leading global cultural institutions.
Genesis and Tate Modern will join hands to support “Genesis Exhibition: Do Ho Suh: Walk the House,” a major survey exhibition of South Korean artist Suh Do-ho at the London museum from May 1-Oct. 19 in 2025.
A survey exhibition offers a comprehensive and in-depth examination of a particular artist or movement, featuring a wide range of works and extensive research that spans the artist’s career and evolution.
Genesis said it aspires to enable a deeper exploration of the artist’s thought-provoking insight that resonates with the complexities of our time.
In July, Genesis announced a five-year partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to support an annual contemporary art commission series.
“We are honored to embark on Genesis art initiatives in Europe through our expanded partnership with Tate Modern,” Euisun Chung, executive chair of Hyundai Motor Group, said.
He added that the exhibition will reaffirm “timeless values that transcend both spatial and temporal boundaries.”
