SEOUL, June 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea’s biggest carmaker by sales, is joining the metaverse, a virtual environment where users interact through digital avatars.
The company announced that it will offer virtual test drives of the Sonata N Line on metaverse platform Zepeto.
The N Line brand sits between Hyundai’s high-performance N brand and the general Hyundai brand.
Hyundai Motor will allow users to drive the Sonata N Line at Zepeto’s Downtown and Driving Zone, two of the most popular areas on the metaverse, for the very first time.
Users can have their avatar take photos and videos with the Sonata N Line as part of the company’s marketing efforts to better connect with the MZ generation.
