SEOUL, June 9 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co. said Thursday that it will host an exhibition showcasing its heritage, featuring the nation’s first domestically manufactured car, the Pony, from various perspectives.
“PONY, the Timeless” exhibition serves as the second project of the Hyundai Reunion Heritage brand platform, which presents a future vision through past heritage.
The exhibition will be held at Hyundai Motor Studio in Gangnam, southern Seoul, and is scheduled to run until Aug. 6.
It offers visitors an opportunity to revisit the Pony’s birth process and immerse themselves in the historical background, design, and philosophical concerns of that era.
In addition to showcasing a collection from the 1970s and 1980s, the exhibition will present reinterpretations of that era through videos, music, and paintings.
Visitors will also have access to historic data regarding the initial production and export of the Pony.
Furthermore, the exhibition will feature a restored model of the Pony coupe concept and the N Vision 74, a high-performance hydrogen hybrid rolling lab.
