SEOUL, Oct. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Hyundai Motor Group said Tuesday it has showcased its hydrogen-powered Nexo crossover vehicle at the main venue of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit this week in South Korea, highlighting its leadership in future mobility technologies.
The all-new Nexo has been placed at Gyeongju Arts Center, where the APEC CEO Summit will be held through Friday in the host city of Gyeongju, some 275 kilometers southeast of Seoul, according to Hyundai Motor Group.
The model marks the first full redesign of the company’s fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in seven years and encapsulates the company’s hydrogen technology and vision for future mobility.
The vehicle will also be exhibited at K-Business Square at Gyeongju Expo Park for tourists and visitors until Nov. 22, the group said.
“We plan to showcase our strategies for eco-friendly energy and mobility by introducing key hydrogen and future mobility technologies to APEC member leaders and global leaders,” a group official said.
