SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Company is set to launch the Casper Electric Cross, a compact electric SUV, on February 11, 2025. The new model builds upon the existing Casper Electric, incorporating design elements that enhance its outdoor appeal.
The front fascia features a cross radiator grille and a semi-gloss gray metallic skid plate, reinforcing a robust, off-road-ready aesthetic. Premium full LED headlamps add a touch of sophistication.
On the sides, 17-inch alloy wheels, side moldings, and a standard roof rack contribute to the adventurous look. The rear end is accentuated with pixel graphic LED combination lamps, delivering a futuristic design.
Under the hood, the Casper Electric Cross is equipped with a 49kWh NCM (nickel-cobalt-manganese) battery, offering a driving range of up to 285 kilometers on a single charge. The model supports fast charging, allowing the battery to replenish from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Pricing for the new model starts at ₩31.9 million after eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits. Customers can choose from seven exterior color options, including the exclusive Amazonas Green Matte, while the interior is available in Dark Gray, Amazonas Green, and Black.
With the launch of the Casper Electric Cross, Hyundai aims to attract urban drivers seeking a compact yet versatile EV with a bold outdoor aesthetic. The model is expected to compete in the growing segment of affordable small electric SUVs, meeting the increasing demand for sustainable mobility options.
