Hyundai Unveils Comprehensive Electric Vehicle Care Program to Boost Adoption

SEOUL, Sept. 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Hyundai Motor Company announced on September 3 the launch of EV Every Care Plus, a program designed to provide integrated management of customers’ electric vehicle lifestyles.

The South Korean automaker stated that the program aims to alleviate concerns about electric vehicles and boost customer satisfaction, ultimately promoting the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in the domestic market.

EV Every Care Plus is an expansion of the existing EV Every Care program, introducing new benefits such as safety inspection services, warranty extensions, and specialized electric vehicle tires. The program also extends the period for new car exchange support services.

Customers who have purchased new Ioniq 5, Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 6, or Kona Electric models since September 1 are eligible to enroll in EV Every Care Plus.

The safety inspection service offers complimentary annual checks of 15 safety-related items for up to eight years. This service is available to customers who are subscribed to Hyundai’s Blue Members program.

The extended warranty service combines the previous Body Care Service and Warranty Plus offerings. It provides free repairs for body damage within the first year or 20,000 kilometers of driving, whichever comes first. Additionally, general parts replacement is covered for up to five years or 100,000 kilometers.

Hyundai has also doubled the period for new car exchange support from one year to two years after purchase. This service assists customers with losses and rental costs in the event of a total loss.

Further enhancing the program’s value, Hyundai will provide two free specialized electric vehicle tires with each purchase and guarantee 55% of the purchase price when selling the vehicle used.

A Hyundai representative stated, “Through the EV Every Care Plus program, which will be responsible for the entire electric vehicle lifecycle, we aim to instill confidence in customers purchasing electric vehicles.”

The spokesperson added, “We will continue to lead the promotion of electric vehicle demand and the growth of domestic electric vehicle adoption through specialized customer services.”
