SEOUL, May 4 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co. on Wednesday unveiled a large hydrogen fuel cell truck model at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2023 being held in Anaheim, California.
The newly-unveiled XCIENT Fuel Cell tractor weighs 37.2 tons and was developed to target the North American market, where long-distance truck transportation is common.
The new model is installed with a 350-kilowatt driving motor and a 180-kW fuel cell system.
With a full load, the truck can travel about 720 kilometers on a single charge.
