SEOUL, Oct. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Co.’s Tucson plug-in hybrid SUV has swept the top spots in a string of comparison tests conducted by renowned German auto magazines.
In the latest edition of Auto Zeitung, Tucson ranked first in a test comparing same-class plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) models including the Volkswagen Tiguan, Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland.
The test consisted of five categories: body (frame), comfort, powertrain, driving dynamics, and eco-friendliness/cost. Among these categories, the Tucson ranked at the top, particularly in driving dynamics.
Even in the comparison test conducted in August by Auto Motor und Sport, Tucson gained the top spot in comprehensive evaluation scores, beating other famous rival models.
In July, the Tucson also came out on top in comprehensive evaluation scores in the plug-in hybrid SUV comparison test conducted by Auto Bild.
