Seoul, July 05 (Korea Biz Wire) ImageNext, Korea’s only manufacturer of around-view monitoring systems, put its “360-degree OmniVue” AVM system on a demonstration in Seoul Auto Salon 2013 with the windshield window covered.

The company is also selling a side mirror-type (550,000 won with installation charge not included) and fender-type (500,000 won) OmniVue models in the booth.

ImageNext began offering the AVM systems on the after-market from March this year. Previously the systems had been available only in high-end import cars and domestic luxury models as an option.

AVM systems allow the driver to have a 360-degree view just like one has a bird’s-eye view from above. The systems also offer views of front, rear, left, and right of the car within a 1-meter radius, preventing accidents while driving or scratches while parking.
