INCHEON, June 4 (Korea Bizwire) — With new COVID-19 cases reported daily and movie theaters seen as a potential hub of transmission, a free drive-in theater will welcome cinephiles every weekend at Incheon Port.
Starting this Saturday, the city of Incheon will open a drive-in theater every weekend at 8 p.m. at the Pier 8 Temporary Parking Lot until October 30. The theater can accommodate up to 100 cars.
After a weekend-only pilot in June, the city plans to open up the theater on Fridays as well from July to October.
All visitors will be required to use hand sanitizer and go through temperature checks at the entrance.
The new drive-in theater aims to offer a chance for all citizens frustrated by the ongoing coronavirus to enjoy cultural activities within a safe environment.
