SEOUL, June 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. are unveiling their latest products at Infocomm 2023, North America’s largest display exhibition in Orlando, Florida. Samsung introduces “The Wall for Virtual Production,” a display for virtual production studios. It comes in P1.68 and P2.1 variations, with a pixel-to-pixel distance of 1.68mm and up to 6,000R curvature.
The molding technology allows installation in dusty studios, hanging from the ceiling or stacking like LEGO blocks. Samsung’s 2023 smart signage lineup includes 20 models, with the QHC series offering 700 nits, QMC series with 500 nits, and QBC series with 350 nits. They also introduce the LED All-in-One, an easy-to-install LED screen.
LG showcases the LG Magnit lineup of micro LED signage, ranging from 136-inch screens for home cinemas to 272-inch screens with 8K resolution. They unveil the 163-inch Magnit, simplifying installation by separating the screen from the power supply unit.
Visitors can experience Magnit displays optimized for next-gen content creation, shooting actors in front of virtual backgrounds. Transparent OLED signage provides captivating experiences beyond the screen.
