SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — Hotel Fair 2024, an exhibition showcasing the current state of the hospitality industry, opened on January 24 at COEX in Seoul. Participating companies displayed their focus on automation and unmanned systems, drawing significant interest from visitors.
Among the highlights was StayOrder’s tablet kiosk, which handles hotel front desk tasks such as room service orders and check-ins. Roboteez, another participant, introduced a mobile mini-bar robot capable of navigating hotel corridors, using elevators, and even knocking on room doors.
The Hotel Fair encompasses a broad spectrum of the lodging industry, including hotels, resorts, residences, pensions, motels, and guesthouses. It features a variety of items from building interiors to exterior materials.
A spokesperson for the exhibition commented, “We have prepared numerous elements that provide customer management and hotel operation solutions through the establishment of digital infrastructure. The fair will also share practical, informational experiences in hotel development, marketing, and operational strategies.”
