One of the highlights among the displayed artworks is a Basquiat masterpiece, the 1982 painting titled “Warrior,” which garnered substantial attention when it achieved a remarkable sale of $41.9 million at a Christie’s Hong Kong auction in 2021. This outstanding price, equivalent to approximately 47.2 billion won based on the exchange rate at the time, solidified its place as the most valuable Western artwork ever to be auctioned in Asia.

Banksy gained widespread attention in 2018 when he activated a concealed shredder within the frame of his painting “Balloon and Girl,” moments after it was successfully auctioned at a Sotheby’s event in London, England. This unexpected incident resulted in roughly half of the artwork being shredded, leading to its subsequent renaming as “Love is in the Trash.”
