SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Korea Bizwire)Tourist resorts where visitors can both enjoy travel and relaxation are gaining popularity ahead of the Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) holiday.

Travel search engine Skyscanner analyzed travelers’ air ticket search data from September 11 to 15 during the holiday season.

The results showed that South Korea’s Jeju Island, Thailand’s Bangkok and Vietnam’s Danang were selected as the top three destinations.

All three destinations offer relaxation and leisure with tourist resorts, but at the same time have shopping districts and convenient transportation.

Specifically, the most popular destination for free travelers in a group this holiday is Danang, Vietnam.

My Khe Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Danang, is known as a world-class beach, offering visitors stunning sunset views on a daily basis.

There are also many tourist attractions to visit, including Hoi An, Ba Na Hill, Marvel Mountain and Han Market nearby.

Meanwhile, for those traveling alone, Jeju Island was the most popular destination. The island is one of South Korea’s top tourism draws, where visitors can enjoy the forest and sea at the same time.

It is good to walk around various beaches and up hills, but there are also many restaurants, cafes, and traditional markets to look around.

Jeju Island is especially convenient as it offers city tour buses and public transportation.

“It is now part of Korean culture to travel on Chuseok holidays, and this year, many people seem to be going on trips as well,” said a Skyscanner official.

“Jeju Island, Danang and Bangkok are popular with people of all ages as they can enjoy both recreation and tourism at the same time,” the official added.
