JEJU, June 24 (Korea Bizwire) — A foreigner-only casino in the Jeju Dream Tower integrated resort, which opened on June 11 in the southern resort island of Jeju, recorded its first jackpot win only 12 days after opening.
According to Lotte Tour Development, a Chinese man in his 40s who resides in South Korea won a 204 million won (US$179,000) grand jackpot while playing a slot machine game in the Dream Tower Casino last Tuesday afternoon.
This was the largest single-casino jackpot ever among the nation’s 16 foreigner-only casinos.
The Dream Tower Casino introduced the latest jackpot series ‘Duo Fu Duo Cai’ machine, which is the most popular slot machine in Asia.
The casino sets the machine to have a more than 200 million won jackpot, the largest among domestic casinos.
