SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — BTS member Jimin’s solo track “Who” has officially surpassed 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.
Released in July last year as the lead track from his second solo album “Muse,” the song reached the milestone on Wednesday, according to his agency, BigHit Music, on Friday.
This makes “Who” the first solo song by Jimin to achieve this feat.
Earlier, “Who” was found to be the most-streamed K-pop song worldwide in 2024, based on Spotify’s tally. It also became the fastest song by a K-pop artist in 2024 to hit 1 billion streams.
The song has been on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100 for 25 consecutive weeks, making it the longest-charting song by a K-pop soloist since the chart was reformed in 2014.
The album “Muse” has remained on the Billboard 200, the main albums chart in the United States, for 31 consecutive weeks, the longest run for a K-pop solo artist.
Another hit song from Jimin, “Like Crazy,” is also on track to surpass 1.5 billion streams, according to BigHit. The track was released in March 2023 as the lead single from his debut solo album “Face.”
