SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Jung Yong-Hwa has proven his massive popularity in China, as his album has remained in the number 1 spot on China’s Gaon Weibo Weekly Chart for 11 consecutive weeks. The album also ranked first on the Weibo Monthly Chart with a 99.48 score, and on the real-time hot Weibo chart as well.
Jung posted a comment on his Weibo SNS account right after hearing the Gaon Weibo news, saying “First place for 11 weeks? This is like a dream. I can’t wait for the rest of 2015!”
An online chat event with fans in Chinese speaking countries on February 1 that was hosted by Weibo also turned out to be an immense success. Jung received about 120,000 questions from his fans during the one-hour event. Fans also sent him messages of congratulation for having his first solo-album ‘One Fine Day’ reach the no. 1 spot on Billboard’s World Album Chart, and Jung answered his fans with gratitude and a promise to keep creating more beautiful music.
Jung Yong-hwa, the leader of CNBLUE, released his first solo album on January 20.
