GOYANG, South Korea, Oct. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – K-Beauty Expo 2016 kicked off Thursday for a four-day run at KINTEX, gathering 450 companies, overseas buyers, and experts in various sectors of the beauty industry.
The event marks its eighth anniversary, and this year’s trade show will feature a wide range of beauty products, from skin care, makeup, nail, hair and body care products to fitness and health care products.
“This year’s K-Beauty Expo has attracted the largest number of buyers at home and abroad, and is expected to contribute to Korea’s beauty industry,” said a KINTEX official. “We will present the hottest trends of the Korean beauty industry in the most creative way.”
According to Euromonitor International, Korea’s beauty and personal care market is expected to reach $12 billion in terms of retail sales in 2016.
