SEOUL, March 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Kakao Mobility announced on Wednesday that it has integrated Google’s artificial intelligence service, Gemini Flash, into its Kakao T app, significantly enhancing user convenience.
According to the company, since introducing the AI-powered “Automatic Address Paste” feature for Kakao T’s quick delivery and parcel services on February 20, 2025, the time required to complete order placement has decreased by an average of 24%.
The feature allows users to simply copy text containing details such as addresses, recipients, and phone numbers from messages. Once the Kakao T delivery service screen is opened, Gemini Flash automatically identifies and fills in the required fields, eliminating the need for manual typing or partial copying.
Kakao Mobility stated that this improvement marks a significant step forward in streamlining the user experience. Previously, customers had to painstakingly extract and input each piece of information themselves.
Looking ahead, the company is exploring ways to expand the use of Gemini AI across additional services within its platform by 2026.
