SEOUL, May 31 (Korea Bizwire) — Kakao Talk is the most frequently used app in the world, according to Mary Meeker’s 2015 Internet Trend report.
For the first quarter of 2015, Kakao Talk was visited 55 times a day per user, based on an analysis of Quettra on 75 million users of Android devices around the world.
According to the report, Kakao Talk was visited 1.5 times to seven times more than other five messenger apps that were ranked on the top 10 list of the world’s most visited apps.
Kakao Talk was also confirmed to have the highest number of net users among non-gaming apps, while seven gaming apps on Kakao Talk platform were in the top 10 list in terms of net user numbers among gaming apps.
