SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) plans to set up miniature fine dust monitoring devices at baseball stadiums in 10 locations to monitor fine dust in real time.
A company selected to carry out the project will be responsible for installing fine dust monitoring devices, certified as grade 1 devices by the Ministry of Environment and capable of measuring both fine and ultrafine dust, in KBO League stadiums.
The device should come with error adjustment functions to maximize monitoring accuracy, real-time fine dust monitoring programs, and real-time synchronization with the KBO’s official platform.
“While the Korea Meteorological Administration and affiliated agencies are delivering fine dust information in each region through various applications, they don’t closely reflect the levels in baseball stadiums. We aim to offer precise information to our fans,” said a KBO official.
