SEOUL, Dec. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Kia Motors introduced 3D holograms at two of its Seoul dealerships on Wednesday, in an effort to help customers experience a greater variety of Kia vehicles.
According to the automaker, the limited amount of display space at its dealers made it impossible to exhibit all vehicle models, often leaving customers disappointed.
The 3D holograms will make up for the physical limitations, and give visitors a chance to see both the exterior and the interior of Kia vehicles as well as various color options available for the models.
In addition, the two dealerships were also equipped with other entertainment and informative features, including videos introducing the history of the cars and their manufacturing process, and a “fun driving” corner for customers to partake in a virtual driving experience of Kia cars.
“This new concept of dealerships is a differentiated place for experiencing the automobiles, beyond offering simple car information. They will help us communicate better with our customers,” said an official.
Kia plans to equip other key dealerships across the country with 3D holograms in coming months.
