SEOUL, Nov. 4 (Korea Bizwire) – Kia Motors announced that it would launch a paper toy product in celebration of the first birthday of its brand mascots “Enzy and Friends.”
It plans to provide customers visiting a Kia dealership with their kindergarteners or elementary school kids with the souvenir from November 3 until all the toys run out. The environmentally-friendly items made of paper are shaped as Enzy and Kia’s flagship product Soul.
The auto manufacturer produced the toy in cooperation with Momot, a design company, which consists of paper designs of Enzy and the Soul, and character stickers. The toy is planned to be sold at online and offline stores run by Momot. Not only that, it will be shown at marketing exhibitions such as motor shows. Enzy and Friends are on car safety ads and come on auto exhibitions as well.
Enzy and Friends are part of the auto maker’s youth marketing effort, launched last year. There are five characters shaped into five parts of a car: Enzy the Engine Monster, Razy the Radiator Monster, Tory the Battery Monster, Aqu the Washer Monster and Laito the Light Monster.
“To be a friend with not only all the generations but also younger ones, we created paper crafts shaped into Kia’s cars and its characters as part of our marketing bid. We plans to expand opportunities to meet customers in various ways,” an official of the company said.
