SEOUL, Feb. 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Kia has lifted the curtain on its latest electric vehicle lineup, aiming to redefine the EV market with a bold new vision.
Ahead of its annual “Kia EV Day,” set to take place later this month in Tarragona, Spain, the automaker released teaser images and videos of three upcoming models: the Kia EV4, Kia PV5, and the Kia Concept EV2. The event will serve as a platform for Kia to showcase its EV strategy and upcoming innovations.
The EV4, an all-electric sedan, was first introduced as a concept at Kia’s 2023 EV Day. Positioned alongside the EV6, EV9, and EV3, the EV4 represents Kia’s latest step in its dedicated EV lineup. The teaser images reveal a sleek silhouette that embodies the company’s next-generation design philosophy for electric sedans.
Meanwhile, the PV5 marks Kia’s first model built on its dedicated Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV) platform. Originally unveiled as a concept at CES last year, the PV5 integrates Kia’s signature design elements, including Starmap lighting and a streamlined, geometric exterior.
Also making its debut is the Concept EV2, a compact electric SUV designed for both urban and outdoor lifestyles. The model underscores Kia’s commitment to expanding its EV offerings across multiple segments.
At the 2025 Kia EV Day, the company plans to outline its broader electrification strategy, including initiatives aimed at reshaping the EV market. Additionally, Kia will provide insights into its PBV business strategy, with the PV5 spearheading this new mobility-focused direction.
With these upcoming releases, Kia is doubling down on its ambition to drive the future of electric mobility and solidify its presence in the evolving automotive landscape.
